I've been building my rit up again, taking my overall inventory and cutting it in half, allowing me to pull him off of mule duty haha, and well.. I'm wondering what you guys like to run. I mean, I can only assume the mainstream wiki stuff is somewhat popular, but do any of you have some cool custom tricks out there?

I believe there is a forum sticky about not posting for builds, you gotta submit something of an idea of what you want to run, like PvE/AB/RA/TA/GvG/HA/HB theres a lot of options you need to be more specific.

I was running this build lately and it worked pretty well basicly everywhere.

But I got bored and changed it to this:

[build prof=Ri/P Spa=12+2 Cha=5+1 Res=4+1 Spe=11][Barbed Spear][Holy Spear][Spear of Lightning][Finish Him][Weapon of Aggression][Spirits Strength][Mend Body and Soul][Flesh of my Flesh][/build]

It is not as effective but it is really a fun to run.

I'd bet that a considerable portion of that fun can be derived from the fact that the ritualist attack animation is singularly unsuitable for handling spears

With minor modifications that build is also great fun in AB.

I pretty much don't touch my guy anyone. He has cooties so I stay away. But the last thing I ran was:

Pretty outfits will only get you so far.

Looks a little messed up I know but the sad fact is that rits really don't have that many good skills. So I load up on pve skills instead

This is what I have been running, but I am new to build making.

[Spirit Rift][Spirit Burn][Essence Strike][Offering of Spirit][Weapon of Warding][Resilient Weapon][Life][Flesh of my Flesh]

Maxed out Restoration and Channeling.

I suck at healing so Weapon of Warding and Resilient weapon let me heal and move on. And with my attacks, I do spirit rift, then spike with Spirit Burn and Essence Strike, then rift goes off doing considerable compound spike damage.

Whatever I feel like. The thing that everyone seems to forget is though we do not excell at any specific thing, we can do pretty much anything with the right skill setup. I run MM, Ele, Sin, Para, Derv etc. I can do almost anything with my rit.

It's quite alot of fun, spamming Spirit Rifts ^^.

Defect showed the bar, so we can count the number of spirits on the bar. I count... zero.

Apart from OoB, he(?) isn't really using his attributes for anything other than Channeling, so there's no real point to saving the attribute points either way - they'd just be going into making Splinter Weapon last that little bit longer through Spawning Power or going into FOMF via Restoration to make the target come back with more energy.

Er... semi-retired, but that's only because I don't have much I want to do. I should run some unexplored dungeons, in which case it'll either be Rt/N resto/curses enfeebling blood+necrosis or Rt/Mo empathic removal resto/prot.

(thinking out loud from here on)

That's assuming of course I don't go all weird and bust out a bow again or something, y'never know. I could try BHA splinter-volley. Hey, I could try soul twisting edge of extinction and bring symbiosis along for the ride again, that worked out ok before with a minion bomber hero. Except I didn't use soul twisting of course, but ranger spirits are a fun change and they work with MB&S and stuff. Could try an elite ranger spirit - no one else will, after all

Ooh, maybe lacerate and toxicity and one of my necro heroes with minion bombs (poison) and shamblers (bleeding) and another with Ulcerous Lungs (extra degen to bleeders), guess I won't need toxicity after all with all that degen... eh, whatever, as long as it amuses me for an evening I don't care what I run
